Preface
It is our great honor to host the 16th International Symposium on Organic Reactions (ISOR-16) at Okayama University in November 2025.
Since its inception in 1988, ISOR has served as a vital platform for academic exchange and collaboration between organic chemists from Japan and Taiwan. Over the years, it has significantly contributed to the advancement of organic chemistry in both countries through the sharing of ideas, fostering of partnerships, and encouragement of young researchers.
ISOR-16 will feature a broad spectrum of topics related to organic chemistry, including organic reactions, organic electrochemistry, organometallic chemistry, bioorganic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, natural products chemistry, and materials science. The scientific program will consist of plenary and keynote lectures delivered by invited speakers, offering insights into the latest developments in these diverse fields.
In addition to the invited lectures, we warmly welcome poster presentations by young researchers and students. We believe that their fresh perspectives and enthusiastic participation will greatly enrich the symposium. Please kindly note that, due to spatial limitations at the venue, submitted poster abstracts may be subject to peer review and selection.
